Cibelle
Cibelle (born 1978), birth name Cibelle Cavalli Bastos, is a Brazilian visual artist and musician. They are based in London, Berlin and São Paulo. They graduated in 2015 from the Royal College of Art in London. Cibelle has released four music albums and has performed and presented work in venues such as Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin, Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid, ICA London, and Carnegie Hall in New York. Cibelle has an interdisciplinary practice that includes performance art, sound art, video, painting, sculpture and installation. Their work addresses the deconstruction and formation of identities and people's interactions with each other and their surroundings. Crammed Discs
Crammed Discs is an independent record label whose output blends world music, rock, pop, and electronica. Based in Brussels, Belgium, Crammed was founded in 1980 by Marc Hollander of Aksak Maboul and has since released around 400 albums and 300 singles, working with artists from all over the world (from Western Europe and the US to the Balkans and North & Central Africa, from South America to the Middle East and Japan). The Real Tuesday Weld
The Real Tuesday Weld is a British band formed in 2001 by lead singer and producer Stephen Coates, who studied at the Royal College of Art. They have released several albums, singles and EPs, and many tracks on compilations. Their combination of big-band jazz era sounds with electronica and vintage-style animations has been influential on the current range of electro swing artists and DJs. Their live shows are usually accompanied by visuals in the form of bespoke films and animations. The band is named after American film actress Tuesday Weld. Coates once had a dream involving Weld and 1930s vocalist Al Bowlly and cites it as inspiration for the band's particular style. Mitar Subotić "Suba" ( sr-Cyrl, Митар Суботић Суба; 23 June 1961 – 2 November 1999), also known as Rex Ilusivii (Latin for ''The King of Illusions''), was a Serbian-born musician and composer who was set to become one of Brazil's most prominent producers when he died in November 1999. Celso Fonseca (born November 15, 1956) is a Brazilian composer, producer, guitarist and singer. He is noted as part of the Música popular brasileira since the 1980s, initially as accompanist and composer, then producer, and since the mid–1990s as an artist in his own right. Celso Fonseca was born in Rio de Janeiro. He began on guitar at age 12 and by 19 dedicated himself to music as a profession. He counts Baden Powell de Aquino as an influence. Danielle Stech-Homsy, known by her pseudonym Rio en Medio (Spanish for ''river in between''), is an American singer and baritone ukulelist. Career Stech-Homsy was born in New Mexico, and was raised in California and Arizona. Later, she moved to Brooklyn.
