The Church San José of Gurabo (Spanish: ''Iglesia San José de Gurabo'') is a historic Catholic parish church located in Gurabo Pueblo (downtown Gurabo) in the municipality of Gurabo, Puerto Rico. The parish church is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Caguas. The current church structure dates to 1821, and it was erected 6 years after the official founding of the municipality of Gurabo. Gurabo Barrio-pueblo
Gurabo barrio-pueblo is a barrio and the administrative center (seat) of Gurabo, a municipality of Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 1,509. As was customary in Spain, in Puerto Rico, the municipality has a barrio called ''pueblo'' which contains a central plaza, the municipal buildings (city hall), and a Catholic church. Fiestas patronales (patron saint festivals) are held in the central plaza every year.
