Christopher And Philip Booth
Christopher Saint Booth and Philip Adrian Booth (born 19 February 1960) (also known as Who’s Who?) are British-Canadian twin brother musicians and filmmakers best known for the 1986 song " Ulterior Motives". The song became known in the lostwave community, a social media subculture based around obscure songs, as "Everyone Knows That" (EKT); its authorship and title were not known to the online community. It was the subject of a search between 2021 and 2024 to identify the song title and original artist. As filmmakers, the brothers have made several documentaries on ghosts, haunted locations, and exorcisms. Together they directed several horror movies in the 2000s, with some notable actors, such as Matthew McGrory. Originally from Halifax, UK, they moved to Canada in the 1970s. Christopher Booth replaced Bryan Adams as a vocalist of the band Sweeney Todd, in which his older brother John was the drummer and his twin Philip played guitar. Halifax, West Yorkshire
Halifax is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale, in West Yorkshire, England. It is in the eastern foothills of the Pennines. In the 15th century, the town became an economic hub of the old West Riding of Yorkshire, primarily in woollen manufacture with the large Piece Hall square later built for trading wool in the town centre. The town was a thriving mill town during the Industrial Revolution with the Dean Clough Mill buildings a surviving landmark. In 2021, it had a population of 88,109. It is also the administrative centre of the wider Calderdale Metropolitan Borough. Toponymy The town's name was recorded in about 1091 as ''Halyfax'', most likely from the Old English ''halh-gefeaxe'', meaning "area of coarse grass in the of land". This explanation is generally preferred to derivations from the Old English ' (holy), in ''hālig feax'' or "holy hair", proposed by 16th-century antiquarians. The Possessed (2009 Film)
''The Possessed'' is a 2009 documentary style horror film which was released to DVD in May 2009 and had its television debut in October that same year on SyFy. Plot The film is based upon the events surrounding what became known as the ' Watseka Wonder'. Using period photographs, dramatic recreations, and interviews with subject experts, it addresses what is allegedly the first well-documented and recorded spirit possession story in America of 1877, and the subsequent recorded "possessions" suffered by Lurancy. Beginning in 2006, and using the assistance of members of the Studio Nine class of Watseka Community High School, ''The Possessed'' was shot on locations in Watseka, Illinois, in the actual homes of, and including interviews of, the remaining family members of Lurancy Vennum. ''British Film Editors'' (BFE) is a not-for profit honorary society of professional British Film and Television Editors. BFE was formed by some 40 British film editors in 1966. Originally named the Guild of British Film Editors (GBFE), as more television programmes – particularly dramas and drama series – were pre-recorded rather than broadcast live its membership very soon included editors working in television as well. In 2005, when the advance of digital recording and editing meant that very few editors were actually working with film at all, the name was changed to the Guild of British Film and Television Editors.
