Chico () means ''small'', ''boy'' or ''child'' in the Spanish language. It is also the nickname for Francisco in the Portuguese language (). Chico ( ; Spanish language, Spanish for "little") is the most populous city in Butte County, California, United States. Chico, Washington
Chico is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. Named in 1889 for a Suquamish head chief, Chico is located on the Dyes Inlet waterfront, south of Silverdale. At the 2020 census the community had a population of 2,723. Geography Chico is in central Kitsap County, bordered to the north by Silverdale and to the south by the Erlands Point and Kitsap Lake CDPs. It is bordered to the east by Dyes Inlet, a tidal water body that connects to Puget Sound via Port Washington Narrows through Bremerton, then via the strait of Port Orchard. It is bordered to the west by Camp Wesley Harris and Newberry Hill Heritage Park. The northern border is Newberry Hill Road, which separates Chico from Silverdale. Chico Creek forms the southern boundary with Erlands Point and Kitsap Lake to the south. José Manuel Flores Moreno (born 6 March 1987), commonly known as Chico Flores, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a central defender. Francisco Delfim Dias Faria (9 October 1949 – 10 June 2004), commonly known as Chico Faria, was a Portuguese footballer who played as a forward. Club career Born in Matosinhos, Faria spent his first 15 seasons as a professional in the Primeira Liga, making his debut in the competition with hometown club Leixões S.C. at only 17. Jonathan Arthur "Chico" DeBarge (born June 23, 1966) is an American R&B singer and musician. DeBarge was formally a member of the DeBarge family musical group DeBarge. As a solo artist, he scored a 1986 US Top Forty hit with the song "Talk to Me". Career He began a musical career of his own with Motown in the mid-1980s. His debut self-titled album was released in 1986 and featured the hit single "Talk To Me" (#21 US, #7 R&B).
