Chess (2006 Film)
''Chess'' is a 2006 Indian Malayalam-language revenge action thriller crime film directed by Raj Babu. Dileep plays the male protagonist and Bhavana is his heroine. The film also stars Ashish Vidyarthi, Jagathy Sreekumar, Harisree Ashokan, Vijayaraghavan and Rajyalakshmi. Plot Vijayakrishnan is an ordinary man who longs for his father's love. After his father's premeditated death, as the only heir to all his father's property, he is betrayed by his trusted lawyer who confirms his documents as fake. The people who are after Vijayakrishnan's father's wealth, murders his mother in front of him by dousing her with gasoline and burning her. Vijayakrishnan is then beaten unconscious by them. To get his revenge on the criminals who killed his parents and discredited him from his wealth, Vijayakrishnan pretends to be blind and deceives them, one by one. Jagannatha Varma
K. N. Jagannatha Varma (1 May 1939 – 20 December 2016) was an Indian actor who worked in Malayalam film and television industry. He was also a Kathakali artist. His son Manu Varma is also an artist and his son-in-law Viji Thampi is a film director. He acted in a number of Malayalam movies performing roles of a senior police officer, judge or a priest. Janardhanan Pillai (born 5 May 1946), also known as Janardhanan Nair, is an Indian actor, producer and a former Indian Air Force personnel who predominantly acts in Malayalam films. He acted in his first feature film '' Adyathe Kadha'', directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan in 1971, he acted in more than 700 films. Kalasala Babu (1950 14 May 2018) was an Indian actor who performed on stage, and in television serials and films. On stage Babu had been acting in radio plays while at college. Following his graduation in 1973, Babu acted in ''Paanchajanyam'', yielding a good performance. Babu acted at Kalidasa Kala Kendram for two years, and was offered roles by the late O. Madhavan and K. T. Muhammed. After acting in his first film '' Inayethedi'' in 1977, Babu started his drama troupe 'Kalasala' in Thripunithura, after which he was called as Kalasala Babu, and had artists such as Thilakan and Surasu, amongst others.
