Chambers Communications Corporation was a broadcasting company based in Eugene, Oregon. With roots back to 1959, Chambers Communications was founded by Carolyn S. Chambers and owned a chain of ABC affiliates in Western, Central Oregon and Southern Oregon. Chambers also owned a state-of-the-art film and video production company and studios in Eugene, Oregon. Chambers was the former owner of the cable system in Sunriver, Oregon, but on July 25, 2013 announced that it had sold the small system to BendBroadband's Zolo Media, the advertising and broadcast arm of the regional cable and wireless provider in nearby Bend, Oregon. On March 5, 2014, Chambers Communications announced that it would exit broadcasting and sell its stations to Heartland Media, a company owned by former Gray Television executive Bob Prather. The station is owned by Allen Media Broadcasting, and maintains studios on Knutson Avenue (near Rogue Valley International–Medford Airport) in north Medford; its transmitter is located at the edge of Wolf Creek Park in rural northeastern Josephine County (near Golden). KOHD (channel 18) is a television station in Bend, Oregon, United States, serving as the ABC affiliate for Central Oregon. It is owned by local cable company BendBroadband alongside low-power CBS affiliate KBNZ-LD (channel 7). Klamath Falls ( ) is a city in and the county seat of Klamath County, Oregon, United States. The city was originally called ''Linkville'' when George Nurse founded the town in 1867. Medford is a city in and the county seat of Jackson County, Oregon, in the United States. As of the 2020 United States Census on April 1, 2020, the city had a total population of 85,824 and a metropolitan area population of 223,259, making the Medford MSA the fourth largest metro area in Oregon.
