Castillo de Alcalá la Real (or Fortaleza de La Mota) is a castle in Alcala la Real, in the province of Jaén, Spain. It is a defensive enclosure, located at an elevation of . Jaén () is a province of southern Spain, in the eastern part of the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is bordered by the provinces of Ciudad Real, Albacete, Granada and Córdoba. Its capital is the city of Jaén. It has a total area of 13,484 km². Its population is 619,938 as of 1 July 2023, about one sixth of whom living in the capital. It contains 97 municipalities.
