Jim Carone
Jim Carone (born April 13, 1981) is an American baseball coach, who is the current head baseball coach of the McDaniel Green Terror. He played college baseball at Monmouth Hawks baseball, Monmouth. He has also been the head coach of the Wagner Seahawks baseball, Wagner Seahawks (2012 NCAA Division I baseball season, 2012–2021). Carone played at Monmouth University, registering among the nation's best in ERA in his junior season. He earned Northeast Conference Pitcher of the Year honors for his efforts that season, setting a program record for wins in a season with 10. After ending his playing career, Carone served single seasons as an assistant coach at then-Division II NJIT Highlanders baseball, NJIT, Division III Stevens Tech Ducks baseball, Stevens Tech, and Wagner. Juan Carlos Carone
Juan Carlos "Pichino" Carone (18 May 1942 – June 2025) was an Argentine footballer. He played as a right-footed left winger. Carone was most notable for his period in Vélez Sársfield (1964–1969), where he scored 76 goals in 149 games in the Argentine Primera División, being the 6th overall top scorer in the club's history. Carone was nicknamed "Pichino", meaning 'kid' in Italian. Club career Carone played youth football in River Plate and Atlanta, and debuted in the Argentine Primera División with the latter on 5 August 1962, in a 2–0 defeat to Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata. In 1963, Vélez Sársfield paid eleven million Argentine pesos (six in cash plus the loan of two players) to buy him. Mauricio Claver-Carone (born 1975) is an American lawyer, investor, diplomat and lobbyist. He was an official in the Treasury Department, National Security Council and State Department, in both Donald Trump Administrations. He was nominated and elected as the first American President of the Inter-American Development Bank, a position he held from October 2020 until September 26, 2022. Nicolas Carone
Nicolas Carone (June 4, 1917 – July 15, 2010) belonged to the early generation of New York School Abstract Expressionist artists. Their artistic innovation by the 1950s had been recognized internationally, including in London and Paris. New York School Abstract Expressionism, represented by Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Franz Kline, Conrad Marca-Relli and others, became a leading art movement of the postwar era. Biography Carone was born June 4, 1917, into an Italian-American family in New York City. They moved to Hoboken, New Jersey, where he grew up. Walter Carone
Walter Carone (1920–1982) was an Italian-French photographer. Between 1945 and mid 1960s he produced more than 10,000 quality photographs for various French publishers. He was known for his portraits of celebrities, and the coverage of early Cannes Film Festivals. Carone learned photography from his father, who immigrated from Italy to Cannes, France. In 1945 Carone moved to Paris, where he worked for ''Cinévie'', ''France Dimanche'', ''Point de Vue'', ''Elle'' and finally for ''Paris Match'', which hired him three months before its re-opening in 1949.
