Carlos Eduardo da Silva Santos (born 12 March 2001), commonly known as Carlão, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a central defender for Paysandu. Club career Náutico Born in Recife, Pernambuco, Carlão started his career with the youth sides of hometown club Náutico. In February 2019, he moved to Fluminense on loan, being initially assigned to the under-20s. Back to Náutico in July 2019, Carlão made his first team debut on 19 July 2020, starting in a 2–1 Campeonato Pernambucano away win over Salgueiro, and providing an assist to Thiago Fernandes' opening goal. On 12 March of the following year, he renewed his contract until the end of 2023. On 24 March 2021, Carlão moved to Corinthians also on loan, and joined their under-20 squad. In June, however, his loan with ''Timão'' was cancelled, after the club and Náutico failed to reach an agreement for other players. 2024 Copa Verde
The 2024 Copa Verde was the 11th edition of the football competition held in Brazil. Featuring 24 clubs, Acre, Amazonas, Distrito Federal, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Pará and Tocantins have two vacancies; Amapá, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rondônia and Roraima with one each. Copa Verde
The Copa Verde () is an annual regional knockout football competition in Brazil that started in 2014, and played by 24 teams from the North and Central-West regions, plus Espírito Santo (Espírito Santo state was included because they competed in the old Copa Centro Oeste). Initially, the champion of the tournament gained a place in the next year's Copa Sudamericana. With the changes implemented by CONMEBOL in 2016 causes a competition no longer qualify in Copa Sudamericana from edition. The champion will now have a spot in the third round of the Copa do Brasil of the following year. The 2022 Campeonato Pernambucano (officially the Pernambucano Betsson 2022 for sponsorship reasons) was the 108th edition of the state championship of Pernambuco organized by FPF. The championship began on 22 January and ended on 30 April 2022. In the first stage, Sete de Setembro had three points deducted for fielding the ineligible player Bililiu in the match Sete de Setembro v Náutico played on 1 February 2022 (2nd round). The 2022–23 Tercera Federación season was the second for Tercera Federación, the national fifth level in the Spanish football league system. It consisted of 18 groups with 16 teams each.
