Canary Islands
The Canary Islands (; ) or Canaries are an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean and the southernmost Autonomous communities of Spain, Autonomous Community of Spain. They are located in the northwest of Africa, with the closest point to the continent being 100 kilometres (62 miles) away. The islands have a population of 2.25 million people and are the most populous overseas Special member state territories and the European Union, special territory of the European Union. The seven main islands are from largest to smallest in area, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera, and El Hierro. Football Club de Nantes, commonly referred to as FC Nantes or simply Nantes (; ; Gallo language, Gallo: ''Naunnt''), is a French professional association football, football club based in Nantes in Pays de la Loire. James Jerome Hill II (March 2, 1905 – November 21, 1972) was an American filmmaker and artist known for his award-winning documentary and experimental films, one of which won him an Academy Award. The Sioux Falls Canaries are a professional baseball team based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States. RFK Novi Sad 1921 () is a professional football club based in Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League Vojvodina, the third tier of the national league system. Canaries, Saint Lucia
Canaries (or Kanawe in Creole) is a populated place located on the West Coast of Saint Lucia in the Canaries Quarter (also called district or region). It is a small fishing village and it is nestled along the West Coast road, between the towns of Anse La Raye and Soufriere, and there are scenic views from both the Northern and Southern approaches. Since the construction of the West Coast Road it is a stop on the road between Castries and Soufriere. Hitchin () is a market town in the North Hertfordshire Districts of England, district of Hertfordshire, England. The town dates from at least the 7th century.
