''Can't Wait All Night'' is the sixth solo studio album by American pop and country singer Juice Newton, released by RCA Records in 1984. The album was produced by Richard Landis and is Newton's last studio album to chart on the ''Billboard'' 200, reaching #128. Overview ''Can't Wait All Night'' marked the end of Newton's run on the pop charts, as it contains her last two songs to date to chart on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100: "A Little Love", which peaked at #44, and the edgy Bryan Adams-written and produced title track, which peaked at #66. Both songs were aided by popular music videos. The former is also Newton's most recent Top 10 hit on the Adult Contemporary chart, peaking at #7. Her next album, '' Old Flame'', would mark Newton's return full-force to the country music charts. The album was re-issued on CD by Wounded Bird in 2007. Cindy Walker (July 20, 1918 – March 23, 2006) was an American songwriter, as well as a country music singer and dancer. She wrote many popular and enduring songs recorded by many artists. She adopted a craftsman-like approach to her songwriting, often tailoring particular songs to specific artists. "Let's Dance" is a 1962 hit single by Chris Montez, written and produced by Jim Lee. Original version The song was written by Jim Lee, who produced and released the song on his own Monogram Records. The personnel on the original 1962 recording included Joel Hill on guitar, Ray Johnson on organ, Ray Pohlman on bass guitar and Jesse Sailes on drums. When initially released, the song shot to #4 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart in the U.S., and to No. 2 in the UK Singles Chart. William Endfield Steinberg (born February 26, 1950) is an American songwriter. He achieved his greatest success in the 1980s with songwriting partner Tom Kelly; together they wrote or co-wrote the No. 1 hits " Like a Virgin" by Madonna (1984), " True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper (1986), "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles (1989), " So Emotional" by Whitney Houston (1987) and "Alone" (covered by Heart in 1987). Thomas F. Kelly (born April 16, 1952) is an American musician, best known for his songwriting partnership with Billy Steinberg. Steinberg and Kelly co-wrote numerous hit songs for popular music artists, including five number-one singles on the ''Billboard'' Top 100 chart in the 1980s. Early life Originally from Indiana, Kelly lived in Effingham, Illinois from 1963 to 1966, before moving back to West Lafayette, Indiana where he graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1967. Blackhawk (stylized as BlackHawk) is an American country music group founded in 1992 by Henry Paul (lead vocals, mandolin, acoustic guitar), Van Stephenson (background vocals, electric guitar), and Dave Robbins (background vocals, keyboards). Van Wesley Stephenson (November 4, 1953 – April 8, 2001) was an American singer-songwriter. He scored three US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 hits in the 1980s as a solo artist, and later became tenor vocalist in the country music band BlackHawk in the 1990s.
