Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série B (commonly referred to as the Brasileirão Série B, the Série B or the Brazilian Série B to distinguish it from the Italian and the Ecuadorian Serie B), and currently officially called Brasileirão Série B Superbet by sponsorship reasons) is the second tier of the Brazilian football league system. Although not having been played annually since its founding in 1971, the competition format has changed almost every season. The 2023 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (officially the Brasileirão Assaí 2023 for sponsorship reasons) was the 67th season of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the top level of professional football in Brazil, and the 20th edition in a double round-robin since its establishment in 2003. The competition began on 15 April and ended on 6 December 2023. The top six teams as well as the 2023 Copa do Brasil champions qualified for the Copa Libertadores. The next six best-placed teams not qualified for Copa Libertadores qualified for the Copa Sudamericana and the last four were relegated to Série B for 2024. Estádio Raimundo Sampaio, more commonly known as Arena Independência (Independence Arena), is an association football stadium located in the Horto neighborhood of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. 2023 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C
The 2023 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the third division. It began on 2 May and ended on 22 October 2023. Twenty teams competed in the tournament, twelve returning from the 2022 season, four promoted from the 2022 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D ( Amazonas, América de Natal, Pouso Alegre and São Bernardo) and four relegated from the 2022 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B ( Brusque, CSA, Náutico and Operário Ferroviário).
