California's 11th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California represented by former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. The California Citizens Redistricting Commission is the redistricting commission for the California, State of California responsible for determining the boundaries of districts for the California State Senate, State Senate, California State Assembly, State Assembly, and State Board of Equalization (California), Board of Equalization. The commission was created in 2010 and consists of 14 members: five Democratic Party (United States), Democrats, five Republican Party (United States), Republicans, and four from neither major party. Pinole (Spanish language, Spanish for "Pinole, cornmeal") is a city in Contra Costa County, California, United States. Its population was 19,022 at the 2020 United States census, 2020 census. History The Ohlone, Huchiun tribe lived in the region. In 1823, Ygnacio Martínez, commandant of the Presidio of San Francisco, received a land grant of Rancho El Pinole from the Mexican government.
