Caesar Rodriguez
Caesar Rodriguez is an artist who has worked as a colorist in the comics industry. Biography Rodriguez has been a regular comics reader since he was four years old. In 1989, he opened a comic and magazine shop in Los Angeles. There he met several artists and was doing work painting, creating graphics, sculpture, etc. in a studio in the store. One of these artists included J. D. Smith, a freelance artist who later got work with Dark Horse Comics on their Dracula series. His first published work was as a penciller for Click Comics, where he worked with Joe Casey on ''The Chosen''. Shortly thereafter, he was working with J. D. Smith as his assistant on ''Fathom (comics), Fathom'', ''Spirit of the Tao'', and ''Witchblade'' as a production artist and background colorist. Colorist
In comics, a colorist is responsible for adding color to black-and-white line art. For most of the 20th century this was done using brushes and dyes which were then used as guides to produce the printing plates. Since the late 20th century it is most often done using digital media, with printing separations produced electronically. Although most American colorists work directly for comics publishers (either as employees or freelancers), there are a few coloring studios which offer their services to publishers. American Color, Olyoptics, Digital Chameleon were the companies notable in this field. ''Marvel 1602'', or simply ''1602'', is an eight-issue comic book limited series published in 2003 by Marvel Comics. The limited series was written by Neil Gaiman, penciled by Andy Kubert, and digitally painted by Richard Isanove; Scott McKowen illustrated the distinctive scratchboard covers. The eight-part series takes place in a timeline where Marvel superheroes exist in the Elizabethan era; faced with the destruction of their world by a mysterious force, the heroes must fight to save their universe. ''Crux'' is an American comic book published by CrossGen Entertainment from May 2001 to February 2004. It was cancelled due to bankruptcy in 2004. ''Crux'' was one of the later titles that came first in a sort of second wave of Crossgen titles which included '' Sojourn'' and '' Brath''. It detailed the exploits of six Atlanteans who were put into stasis and are awoken 100,000 years later. Plot synopsis The main story arc centered on Capricia and the other Atlanteans efforts to revive the remaining Atlanteans still in stasis and to find out what happened to the human race, and perhaps to a latter extent how to go through 'transition' themselves. The group go through a series of battles with Negation forces who eventually attempt a full-scale invasion of Earth. Red Sonja
Red Sonja is a sword-and-sorcery character created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Barry Windsor-Smith for Marvel Comics in 1973, partially inspired by Robert E. Howard's character Red Sonya of Rogatino. A warrior from the Hyborian Age of Earth-616, partnered with Conan the Barbarian, she is reborn in modern times when her descendant/reincarnation Mary Jane "MJ" Watson attains her sword. ''Sojourn'' is a fantasy comic book series published by American company CrossGen. The series follows the adventures of the archer Arwyn and her companions as they battle undead dictator Mordath. Unlike other CrossGen comics, ''Sojourn'' does not center on a Sigil-Bearer, but instead depicts a villainous Sigil-Bearer whom the heroes are tasked with defeating. Brandon Peterson (born 1969) is an American comic book writer and artist, known for his work on Marvel Comics and Top Cow's ''Codename: Strykeforce'' in the 1990s. Career Peterson's early works for Marvel include a ''New Warriors'' annual and a fill-in in ''X-Factor (comics), X-Factor'' in 1992. Later in the year, he had a short run in ''Uncanny X-Men'', drawing the title's issues of the "X-Cutioner's Song" storyline.
