The Cadillac Fleetwood is a Luxury car#Luxury saloon / full-size luxury sedan, full-size luxury sedan that was marketed by Cadillac from the 1977 through 1996 model years. Taking its nameplate from a coachbuilder historically associated with the General Motors division, the Cadillac Fleetwood became a stand-alone model line in 1985. The first-generation Cadillac Fleetwood was introduced for 1985 as the division downsized its full-size General Motors C platform (FWD), C-body platform sedans to a front-wheel-drive layout. Cadillac Motor Car Division, or simply Cadillac (), is the luxury vehicle division (business), division of the American automobile manufacturer General Motors (GM). Its major markets are the United States, Canada and China; Cadillac models are distributed in 34 additional markets worldwide. Cadillac Brougham
The Cadillac Brougham is a line of full-size luxury cars manufactured by the Cadillac Motor Car Division of General Motors from the 1987 through 1992 model years and was marketed from 1977 to 1986 as the Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. The optional "d'Elegance" trim package that was introduced during the Fleetwood era remained available. The model received a facelift in 1990 and was replaced by the 1993 rear wheel drive D-body Cadillac Fleetwood. Orion Assembly
Orion Assembly is an automotive assembly plant in Orion Township, Michigan, United States, owned and operated by General Motors. From late 2025, the plant is slated to assemble the Chevrolet Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV battery electric pickup trucks for the U.S. market. Opened in 1983, Orion Assembly assumed operations of Buick City in Flint, and Pontiac Assembly. The plant had approximately 1,032 salaried and hourly employees as of September 2019. Cadillac Eldorado
The Cadillac Eldorado is a luxury car manufactured and marketed by the Cadillac Motor Car Division of General Motors from 1952 until 2002, over twelve generations. The Eldorado was at or near the top of the Cadillac product line. The original 1953 Eldorado convertible and the Eldorado Brougham models of 1957–1960 had distinct bodyshells and were the most expensive models offered by Cadillac during those years. The Eldorado was never less than second in price after the Cadillac Series 75 limousine until 1966. Beginning in 1967, the Eldorado retained its premium position in the Cadillac price structure, but was manufactured in high volumes on a unique, two-door personal luxury car platform. The Cadillac Series 70 (models 70 and 75) is a full-size V8 engine, V8-powered series of cars that were produced by Cadillac from the 1930s to the 1980s. It replaced the 1935 Cadillac Series 355, 355E as the company's mainstream car just as the much less expensive Cadillac Series 60, Series 60 was introduced. The Series 72 and 67 were similar to the Series 75 but the 72 and 67 were produced on a slightly shorter and longer wheelbase respectively. Cadillac V-16
The Cadillac V-16 (also known as the Cadillac Sixteen) was Cadillac's top-of-the-line model from its January 1930 launch until 1940. The V16 powered car was a first in the United States, both extremely expensive and exclusive, with every chassis being custom-finished to order. Only 4,076 were constructed in its 11-year run, with the majority built in its debut year before the Great Depression took strong hold.
