Olimpia Sports Hall () is an indoor arena in Ploiești, Romania. Its best known tenant was the men's basketball club CSU Asesoft, one of the top teams of the Romanian championship. Ploiești ( , , ), formerly spelled Ploești, is a Municipiu, city and county seat in Prahova County, Romania. Part of the historical region of Muntenia, it is located north of Bucharest. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a Handball goalkeeper, goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures.
