CSM Alexandria (men's Handball)
Club Sportiv Municipal Alexandria, commonly known as CSM Alexandria or simply as Alexandria, is a Romanian professional football club based in Alexandria, Teleorman County, currently competes in Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football. The team that represents the men's football section of multi-sport club CSM Alexandria, which also include a women's football team and a women's basketball team, was founded in 1948 and during over time has had several names such as: ''Unirea, Progresul, Comerțul, Automatica, Rulmentul, FC Alexandria and FCM Alexandria'', being one of the most important football team of Teleorman County. The best known players are Florea Voicilă (a player who represented the national team while playing in the second division for Alexandria) and Florică Mitroi – both home-grown players. Buzescu Comunal Stadium
Buzescu () is a commune in Teleorman County, Muntenia, Romania. It is composed of a single village, Buzescu. It is well known for its wealthy Roma inhabitants and their extravagant Romani palaces. At the 2002 census, 77% of inhabitants were ethnic Romanians and 22.9% Roma. However, more recent estimates place the number at around 35% Roma. The town runs along a single street filled with various Romani mansions. Most Romanians live outside the town in the surrounding rural area. The Romani usually only occupy a portion of their houses due to the cost of air conditioning. The Romani citizens abide by their own code of honor that emphasizes silence called ''omerta''. In terms of religious affiliation, 94.9% identified as Romanian Orthodox and 4.7% as Seventh-day Adventist. Basarab Panduru
Basarab Nică Panduru (born 11 July 1970) is a Romanian former footballer who played as an attacking midfielder, currently television pundit for Orange Sport. Playing career Born in Mârzănești, Romania, Panduru started his professional career with CSM Reşiţa where he played between 1987 and 1990, before being signed by Steaua București at the beginning of 1991. Panduru's first game with Steaua was in the Romanian Cup, when the Steaua's officials did not take into consideration that just prior leaving CSM Reşiţa, Panduru was set to miss the next game due to yellow cards, therefore Steaua București lost that game after a federal decision. As soon as he joined Steaua București he became an important part of the team. In 1995, however he left Romania to play for Benfica. 1967–68 Regional Championship
The 1967–68 Regional Championship, known as Intercounty championship, was the 26th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The promotion play-off was not held this season, due to the expansion of Divizia C from next season, from four series with 14 teams to eight series of 16 teams. It was the last season organized by regions. Due to the territorial reorganization of the country, from regions to counties, the football activity was also reorganized, following that from the 1968–69 season each county to organized its own championship. The 1964–65 Divizia C was the 9th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been changed from four series of 12 teams to four series of 14 teams. The Liga 3, most often spelled as Liga III, is the third level of the Romanian football league system. It was founded in 1936 and was called Divizia C until 2006. Piatra Neamț (; ; ) is the capital city of Neamț County, in the historical region of Western Moldavia, in northeastern Romania.
