C.F. Cobras De Querétaro
Club de Fútbol Cobras de Querétaro was a Mexican football club based in the city of Querétaro, Querétaro that participated in the Primera División de México. History Cobras was founded on May 12, 1980 as Club de Fútbol Cobras de Querétaro, which was owned by television company Televisa. In 1985, the club acted as América's reserve team, while also pitching its veterans. Also in that year, it was first promoted to the Primera División de México after beating Pachuca with a score of 3–1. However, their stay would only be short-lived, as the team was immediately relegated, after collecting 31 points in 40 matches. Liga MX, also known as Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Mexico and the highest level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Liga Mayor (1943–1949) and also as Primera División de México (1949–2012), it has 18 participating clubs, with each season divided into two short tournaments, ''Apertura'' from July to December and ''Clausura'' from January to May. Club León is a Mexican professional Association football, football club based in León, Guanajuato, León, Guanajuato, that competes in Liga MX, the top division of Mexican football league system, Mexican football. Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX, also known as Ascenso BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, was a professional association football league in Mexico and the second level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Primera División A de México (1994–2009) and also as Liga de Ascenso (2009–2012). The champions of the competition was promoted to Liga MX (top level), and the bottom team was relegated to Liga Premier (third level).
