C13 Grenade
The M67 grenade is a fragmentation hand grenade used by the United States military. The M67 is a further development of the M33 grenade, itself a replacement for the M26-series grenades used during the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and the older Mk 2 "pineapple" grenade used since World War I. Overview The M67 grenade has a spheroidal steel body that contains of composition B explosive. It uses the M213 pyrotechnic delay fuze. The M67 grenade weighs in total and has a safety clip to prevent the spoon on the grenade from being triggered in the event the safety pin is accidentally pulled. The safety pin prevents the safety lever, or "spoon" on the grenade from moving and releasing the spring-loaded striker which initiates the grenade's fuze assembly. The M67 is typically known as a "baseball" grenade because it is shaped like a ball that can be easily thrown. According to the FY2021 US Army Justification, the average cost of a single M67 grenade is around 45 US dollars. The M67 c ...

Autovia C-13
The C-13, also known as Eix del Pallars ( Pallars Axis), is a highway through the Pyrenees in Catalonia, Spain. Route The road connects the regional capital Lleida with Balaguer and the eastern Noguera Pallaresa river valley north of Tremp. It shares its route with part of the N-260, an east–west route across the Pyrenees, and follows the route of the Lleida–La Pobla Line to La Pobla de Segur. History The bypass of Vilanova de la Barca opened in April 2014, allowing traffic from Lleida and Balaguer to avoid the town. This included a 430-metre viaduct over the River Corb, containing 11 separate sections of 30–45 metres each. The total cost was €49 million, and is part of an overall project to improve transport between Lleida and Balaguer. On 1 April 2018, following the 2017 Catalan independence referendum, a section of the road at Térmens was temporarily occupied by protests from the Committees for the Defense of the Republic who objected to paying road tolls in ...

IEC 60320 C13
IEC 60320, entitled "Appliance couplers for household and similar general purposes", is a set of standards published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) that defines non-locking appliance couplers for connecting power supply cords to electrical appliances. These couplers are intended for use with devices operating at voltages up to 250 V ( AC) and currents up to 16 A. The standard specifies various types of connectors, differentiated by shape and size, to accommodate different combinations of current ratings, temperature tolerances, and earthing requirements. Unlike IEC 60309 connectors, IEC 60320 couplers are not keyed or color-coded to indicate voltage; it is the responsibility of the user to ensure that the appliance's voltage rating is compatible with the local mains supply. The standard uses the term ''coupler'' to refer collectively to both the appliance inlets and outlets, as well as the connectors on power supply cords. The first edition of the stan ...

LNER Class C13
The Great Central Railway 9K and 9L classes were two related classes of 4-4-2T Atlantic steam locomotives. They were both intended for suburban passenger services. After the 1923 Grouping, they served the LNER as classes C13 and C14. Their designer was John G. Robinson. The design was based on the earlier Pollitt Class 9G 2-4-2T locomotives, but with a lengthened boiler and a leading bogie to carry it. This extension of running gear also resembled an early Robinson design for the Irish Waterford, Limerick and Western Railway. All passed into British Railways service and the first was not withdrawn until 1952. Most were withdrawn between 1955 and 1959. The last examples of each class, 9K 67417 and 9L 67450, were scrapped in 1960. None were preserved. GCR 9K / LNER C13 Forty locomotives were built to the 9K class, in four batches between 1903 and 1905. The GCR installed water troughs around the same time as this class was built. They were fitted with water scoops, but t ...

The Sauber C13 was a Formula One car designed by André de Cortanze and Leo Ress for use by the Sauber team in the 1994 Formula One World Championship. Overview Engine The car was powered by an Ilmor 3.5L V10 engine badged as a Mercedes-Benz. The development of this car signalled Mercedes-Benz's return to Formula One, providing their first engine for an F1 car since 1955. Drivers Drivers for the team throughout the season were Karl Wendlinger, Andrea de Cesaris, JJ Lehto and Heinz-Harald Frentzen. Only Frentzen drove for the entire season. Racing history From the Spanish Grand Prix, the car ran with higher cockpit sides after Wendlinger suffered severe injuries in a side-on accident during qualifying at the Monaco Grand Prix which left him in a coma. Higher cockpit sides were later made mandatory for all cars in the season, and were still in use up to 2017, when they were integrated with the "halo" system. The C13 was replaced for the season by the Sauber C14. Sponsorship ...

NGC 457
NGC 457 (also designated Caldwell 13, and known as the Dragonfly Cluster, E.T. Cluster, Owl Cluster, Kachina Doll Cluster or Phi Cassiopeiae Cluster) is an open cluster, open star cluster in the constellation Cassiopeia (constellation), Cassiopeia. Discovery It was discovered by William Herschel on August 18, 1780, with a 6.2 inch reflector telescope, and catalogued as VII 42. Visibility It is an easy target for amateur astronomers, and can be seen even with small telescopes in light-polluted skies. Characteristics It lies over 7,900 light years away from the Sun. It has an estimated age of 21 million years. The cluster is sometimes referred by amateur astronomy, amateur astronomers as the ''Owl Cluster'' or the ''E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, E.T. Cluster'' (due to its resemblance to the movie character). Two bright stars Phi Cassiopeiae (magnitude 5 and spectral type F0) and HD 7902 (magnitude 7) can be imagined as eyes. It is not yet clear if Phi Cassiopeiae is a member ...
