Buk District () is a '' gu'' (district) in north-central Busan, South Korea. The district is 39.37 square kilometers with a population of 275,773 as of 2023. It was established as a ''gu'' in 1978. A ''gu'' (), or district, is an Administrative divisions of South Korea, administrative unit in South Korea. There are two kinds of districts in South Korea. South Korea is located in East Asia, on the southern portion of the Korean Peninsula located out from the far east of the Asian landmass. Victon
Victon (; stylized as VICTON, an acronym for Voice to New World) is a South Korean boy group formed in 2016 by IST Entertainment (formerly A Cube Entertainment, Plan A Entertainment, and Play M Entertainment). The group is composed of six members: Han Seung-woo, Seungwoo, Seungsik, Sejun, Do Han-se, Hanse, Choi Byung-chan, Byungchan and Subin. Han Seung-woo (, born December 24, 1994), known mononymously as Seungwoo, is a South Korean singer, singer-songwriter, and actor. He debuted as a member of South Korean group Victon in 2016. Qingdao

Hwamyeong-dong
Hwamyeong () is a region in Buk-gu, northern Busan, South Korea. It is situated along the east bank of the Nakdong River, and since 2003 has been divided into three '' dong'', Hwamyeong 1, 2, and 3-dong. The total area of the three ''dong'' is approximately . It was designed to serve as a commuter town for Busan, and was home to about 99,000 people as of February 2020. Name There are many different theories regarding the origination of the name Hwamyeong. The most reliable theory is that Mt. Geumjeong, the mountain surrounding Hwamyeong, was once called Mt. Hwa, or Hwasan. This names derives from the mountain being described as an ideal or bright place, and since the Chinese letter for ideal is pronounced 'myeong' in Korean, the name Hwamyeong thus refers to an "ideal bright place."
