Block B () is a South Korean boy band managed by KQ Entertainment, and consists of seven members: Taeil, B-Bomb, Jaehyo, U-Kwon, Park Kyung, Zico, and P.O. Block B has received several accolades, including nominations for seven Golden Disc Awards and eleven Seoul Music Awards. Block B was created by musician Cho PD in 2011 on a budget of US$1.4 million. They made their live debut on KBS' ''Music Bank'' and MTV's ''Match Up!''. KCON (music Festival)
KCON is an annual convention held in locations across the world, created by Koreaboo and organized by CJ ENM Entertainment Division. It was first held in Southern California in 2012 and has since expanded to ten countries as of 2022. In 2015, KCON expanded to Japan and then quickly announced the first KCON USA on the East Coast of the United States, East Coast. In 2016, KCON expanded into Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Paris, France. In January 2017, KCON announced that they would be hosting their first KCON Mexico at the Mexico City Arena on March 17 and 18, 2017. The Circle Album Chart, previously known as the Gaon Album Chart, is a record chart ranking the 100 most popular albums, extended plays and single albums in South Koreabased on their Record sales, physical sales. ''Allkpop'' (stylized in all lowercase) is an American website which features Korean pop and gossip news. It is one of the most trafficked K-pop news sites, with over seven and half million readers per month. In its list of useful websites, ''The Korea Herald'' called it the "fastest news breaker" for K-pop. Controversies In 2010, Tablo of Korean hip-hop trio Epik High alleged that allkpop had been sharing pirated links to the group's '' Epilogue'' album, including "a leaked music video of 'Run' and illegal streaming of all our songs" on his personal Twitter account. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. A Digital Albums Chart based on download sales was established on November 19, 2016.
