Veghel () is a town and a former municipality in Southern Netherlands. On 1 January 2017 Veghel, together with Schijndel and Sint-Oedenrode, merged into a new municipality called Meierijstad. This created the largest municipality of the province of North Brabant in terms of land area. History The first known settlements date to Roman times and were established near the River Aa. The Derde Divisie (; ), formerly known as Topklasse (; ), is the fourth tier of football in the Netherlands, which had its inaugural season as a third tier in 2010–11 and as a fourth tier in 2016–17. The league is placed between the Tweede Divisie and the Vierde Divisie (formerly Hoofdklasse), the third and fifth tiers of Dutch football, respectively. The 2023–24 Tweede Divisie, known as Betnation Divisie for sponsorship reasons, season is the eighth edition of the Dutch third tier since ending its hiatus since the 1970–71 season and the 23rd edition using the Tweede Divisie name. On 2 October 2017, representatives of amateur and professional football reached an agreement during the extraordinary general meeting of the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) regarding the path to renewal of the football pyramid. During the extraordinary general meeting of 7 June 2018, an agreement was reached on the number of allowed reserve teams (belofteteams) in each division. For the Tweede Divisie, there are two. Kozakken Boys () is a Dutch football club based in Werkendam. It competes in the , the fourth tier, and second highest amateur league of Dutch football. Formed as Steeds Voorwaarts Werkendam (SVW) in 1932, it adopted its current name in 1935. Kozakken Boys was named after the Don Cossack troops, who liberated Werkendam from French occupation in 1813. History The club was founded on 22 October 1930, and has played exclusively at amateur level in all its history. Genemuiden was part of the Hoofdklasse league in the 2009–10 season, which it completed in fifth place in the Saturday C group, then winning promotion to the newly established Topklasse league for the inaugural 2010–11 season through playoffs.
