BC Žalgiris
Basketball Club Žalgiris () commonly known as BC Žalgiris, is a professional basketball club based in Kaunas, Lithuania. They compete domestically in the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga, Lithuanian Basketball League (''Lietuvos krepšinio lyga'') and internationally as a long-term licensed EuroLeague team. Since the 2011–12 season, Žalgiris has played its home games in Žalgiris Arena in the Centras Eldership, New Town district of Kaunas. Žalgiris is the most decorated Basketball in Lithuania, basketball club in the country, having won 24 Lithuanian Basketball League championships, five USSR Premier Basketball League, Soviet Union National League championships (the second most behind PBC CSKA Moscow, CSKA Moscow), and one EuroLeague championship. Lietuvos Krepšinio Lyga
Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL; ), also known as Betsafe LKL for sponsorship reasons, is the premier men's professional club basketball league in Lithuania. It is composed of 10 teams, and it is a member of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation. The best LKL clubs are also annual participants of the top European-wide basketball competitions, including the top-tier level EuroLeague. On April 22, 1993, the Lietuvos krepšinio asociacija (LKA; ) was founded. It was the first professional sports organisation in Lithuania. Lietuvos krepšinio lyga was built on the foundation of the LKA. Former basketball player Šarūnas Marčiulionis is named as the founder of the league. Arnoldas Kulboka (born 5 January 1998) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Wolves Twinsbet of the Lithuanian Basketball League. Martynas Andriuškevičius (; born March 12, 1986) is a Lithuanian former professional basketball player. He is a 2.18 m (7 ft 2 in) tall and 113 kg (250 lb) center (basketball), center. Darius Songaila (born February 14, 1978) is a Lithuanian professional basketball coach and former player. He serves as an assistant coach for Manisa Basket of Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He has represented the Lithuania national team. He played at the power forward and center positions. Donatas Motiejūnas (; born September 20, 1990) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for AS Monaco Basket of the French LNB Pro A and the EuroLeague. The Centras Eldership () is an Eldership in the city of Kaunas, Lithuania, based on two neighbourhoods of Kaunas - the Old City and the New City.
