B-Unique Records is a London-based record label, and publishing company founded in 2001 by Mark Lewis and Martin Toher. It is one of the UK’s most successful independent labels. B-Unique's current roster includes Irish indie-folk trio Kingfishr, Jon “‘Maggs” Maguire, (Calum Scott), Robert Harvey (The Music), Punctual, TikTok twins Altego, singer-songwriter Benjamin Steer and Iona Luke. Other artists include, John Newman, Kodaline, James Bay, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Luke Sital Singh and writers Johnny McDaid (Ed Sheeran / Snow Patrol) Ian Broudie, Samuel Preston, John Power, Liam O'Donnell, Jonny Coffer, Anders Grahn, and James Flannigan The label has enjoyed huge success in both records and publishing notably Kaiser Chiefs, The Twang, The Automatic, The Ordinary Boys and Aqualung. The Twang
The Twang are an English indie rock band, formed in 2004 in Birmingham. The band have released five studio albums - '' Love It When I Feel Like This'' (2007), '' Jewellery Quarter'' (2009), '' 10:20'' (2012), '' Neon Twang'' (2014), ''If Confronted Just Go Mad'' (2019) and a B-sides compilation, '' Subscription'' (2017). Consisting of vocalist and guitarist Phil Etheridge, bassist Jon Watkin, guitarist Stu Hartland, drummer Ash Sheehan, and new backing singers Cat Mctigue and Rio Hellyer, the band garnered national acclaim when ''NME'' magazine produced an article on music acts in the West Midlands. Sean Tillmann-Hauser (born February 6, 1978) is an American singer-songwriter and actor. He has performed and released studio albums as Sean Na Na and as a member of hardcore band Calvin Krime, but is best known for his work under the name Har Mar Superstar. Early life Tillmann was born in Marshall, Minnesota, on February 6, 1978, at Weiner Memorial Hospital. In 1987, his family moved to Owatonna, Minnesota, Owatonna, Minnesota. He graduated from the Perpich Center for Arts Education in Golden Valley, Minnesota. His family is still based in Owatonna, where his mother and father are retired educators. Bedouin Soundclash is a Canadian band based in Toronto and consisting of vocalist and guitarist Jay Malinowski, bass player Eon Sinclair, and various session musicians. Their sound has been described as a combination of reggae and ska. Bedouin Soundclash was formed in 2001 and has released six studio albums, most recently in 2022. Rocket From The Crypt
Rocket from the Crypt is an American punk rock band from San Diego, California, originally active from 1990 to 2005, then active during 2011 and again from 2013 to the present. The band gained critical praise and the attention of major record labels after the release of their 1992 album '' Circa: Now!'', leading to a recording contract with Interscope Records. They experienced a surge of popularity with the release of the albums ''Scream, Dracula, Scream!'' (1995) and '' RFTC'' (1998), accompanied by numerous vinyl singles and EPs released on independent labels. Hot Hot Heat was a Canadian indie rock band from Victoria, British Columbia, formed in 1999. The band was signed to Seattle label Sub Pop in 2001 and Warner Records throughout the majority of their career. The band has released five full-length albums to date, their first and critically acclaimed, '' Make Up the Breakdown'' (2002), ''Elevator'' (2005), '' Happiness Ltd.'' Alkaline Trio
Alkaline Trio is an American punk rock band from Chicago. The band's current members are Matt Skiba (guitar, vocals), Dan Andriano (bass, vocals), and Atom Willard (drums). Founded in late 1996 by Skiba, bassist Rob Doran, and drummer Glenn Porter, Alkaline Trio released its debut single, "Sundials (song), Sundials", in 1997. Following its release, Doran departed from the band and was replaced by Andriano, who occupied the role of co-lead vocalist alongside Skiba.
