Avicii
Tim Bergling (8 September 1989 – 20 April 2018), known professionally as Avicii, was a Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer. At age 16, he began posting his remixes on electronic music forums, which led to his first record deal. He rose to prominence in 2011 with his single " Levels". His debut studio album, ''True'' (2013), blended electronic music with elements of multiple genres and received generally positive reviews. It peaked in the top 10 in more than 15 countries and topped international charts; the lead single, " Wake Me Up", topped most music markets in Europe and reached number four in the United States. In 2015, Bergling released his second studio album, '' Stories'', and in 2017 he released an extended play, '' Avīci (01)''. His catalog also included the singles " I Could Be the One" with Nicky Romero, " You Make Me", " X You", " Hey Brother", " Addicted to You", " The Days", " The Nights", " Waiting for Love", " Without You", " Lonely Together" and "SOS". ...

''True'' is the debut studio album by Swedish electronic music producer Avicii, released on 13 September 2013 by PRMD Music and Island Records. Avicii said that sonically, the album would move away from his earlier house music sound on previous records by incorporating elements of other genres such as country music. ''True'' was preceded by the release of the Aloe Blacc-assisted "Wake Me Up (Avicii song), Wake Me Up" that featured a rare Marantz Enhanced Digital Stereo audio track and topped several charts around the world, and "You Make Me", which features vocals from Swedish artist Salem Al Fakir. "Wake Me Up" (sometimes listed as "Wake Me Up!") is a song by Swedish DJ and record producer Avicii, released as the lead single from his debut studio album ''True'' by PRMD Music and Island Records on 17 June 2013. It was written by Avicii, Mike Einziger of Incubus and American soul singer Aloe Blacc, who provides vocals for the track.
