Austria's Next Topmodel
''Austria's Next Topmodel'' was an Austrian competition reality television series based on Tyra Banks's ''America's Next Top Model''. History The show was hosted by Lena Gercke, the winner of the first cycle of '' Germany's Next Topmodel''. Gercke is the first ''Top Model'' winner to become the host of a ''Top Model'' series. The judging panel for the show's first cycle consisted of the head of Vienna-based modeling agency Wiener Models, Andrea Weidler, and runway coach Alamanda Belfor. It aired from January to February 2009 and was won by Larissa Marolt. As part of her prize package for winning the contest, Marolt won a place on the fourth cycle of ''Germany's Next Top model'', where she placed eighth. In mid-2009, Puls 4 aired a spin-off of the show ''Die Model WG'', which featured six of cycle one's contestants. The show was won by Kordula Stöckl. Germany's Next Topmodel (cycle 1)
The first season of ''Germany's Next Topmodel'' aired on German television network ProSieben from 25 January 2006 to 29 March 2006. This was the only season to feature a cast of only twelve contestants. All later cycles have featured at least twenty-six contestants. The first season copied many photo shoot ideas from ''America's Next Top Model'', especially from the first season. It has also gone with almost three episodes with a double-elimination for the models. The winner of the show was 17-year-old Lena Gercke from Cloppenburg. ''Austria's Next Topmodel, season 2'' was the second season of the Austrian reality documentary based on Tyra Banks' ''America's Next Top Model''. Once again Lena Gercke hosted the show while runway coach Alamande Belfor was replaced by former model and fashion photographer Andreas Ortner. Sabine Landl, who was the styling expert in season 1, also became a permanent member of the jury. Like last year, the winner was represented by ''Wiener Models''. Among the other prizes were a cover on Austrian magazine ''Woman'', the face of the newest ''Hervis'' campaign as well as two runway jobs at the Milan and Paris Fashion Week. ''Austria's Next Topmodel, season 1'' was the first season of the Austrian reality documentary based on Tyra Banks ''America's Next Top Model''. The jury consisted of the head of Vienna-based agency ''Wiener Models'' Andrea Weidler and Dutch-born runway coach Alamande Belfor. The show caused some controversy, as it was discovered that Tamara Puljarevic, one of the contestants, applied under her father's surname to hide her identity of being the daughter of Svetlana Puljarevic, who is the executive chief of ''Miss'' magazine, on whose cover the winner would eventually be featured. ''Austria's Next Topmodel – Boys & Girls'' (stylized as Austria's Next Topmodel boysןɹıƃ), the sixth season of ''Austria's Next Topmodel'', aired from September to December 2014. Model Melanie Scheriau returned to present the series for a second season, while panelists Carmen Kreuzer and Rolf Scheider were replaced by male models Papis Loveday and Michael Urban. Two major changes were made to the series' format for the season: as on ''America's Next Top Model'', the series featured both female and male contestants, and a public voting system was implemented.
