The 2021 Atlantic Coast Conference men's soccer season was the 68th season of men's varsity soccer in the conference. Clemson Tigers men's soccer, Clemson are the defending champions of the Atlantic Conference and the Pittsburgh Panthers men's soccer, Pittsburgh are the defending champions of the Coastal Conference. 2021 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament
The 2021 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament was the 63rd edition of the NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament, a postseason tournament that determined the national champion of the 2021 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. The College Cup, the semifinals and finals of the tournament, were played on December 10 and December 12 in Cary, North Carolina. Qualification Pending the state of the COVID-19 pandemic, 48 teams have been selected to participate. There were 23 automatic bids: the 20 conference tournament champions and to the regular season winners of the Ivy League, Pac-12 Conference, and West Coast Conference, which do not have tournaments. Alumni Stadium is the on-campus association football, soccer stadium in natural grass at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana. The current tenants are the Notre Dame Fighting Irish men's soccer, Notre Dame Fighting Irish men's & Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's soccer, women's soccer teams. The 3,007 -seat stadium was built between April 26, 2008, and September 1, 2009. Dorrance Field is the on-campus stadium at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The NC State Wolfpack men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. The team is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. NC State's first men's soccer team was fielded in 1950. Riggs Field is a 6,500-capacity soccer-specific stadium located in Clemson, South Carolina. The stadium is home to the Clemson Tigers men's and women's soccer teams. It has also hosted the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship in 1987. The stadium opened for soccer in 1980, and was renovated in 1987, and again in 2013.
