2019–20 Pro14
The 2019–20 PRO14 (also known as the ''Guinness PRO14'' for sponsorship reasons) was the nineteenth season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Celtic League. It was the third season to be referred to as the ''PRO14'' (the competition was named the ''Pro12'' immediately prior to the addition of two South African teams). Fourteen teams competed in this season — four Irish teams: Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster; two Italian teams: Benetton and Zebre; two Scottish teams: Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors; two South African teams: Cheetahs and the Southern Kings; and four Welsh teams: Cardiff Blues, Dragons, Ospreys and Scarlets. On 12 March 2020, the season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It restarted on 22 August in a truncated format. Leinster Rugby
Leinster Rugby () is one of the four professional provincial club rugby union teams from the island of Ireland. They compete in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup. The team represents the Leinster Branch, one of the four provincial unions that together make up the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU), but is not restricted to players from that province. Cardiff Rugby () are one of the four professional Welsh rugby union teams. Based in Cardiff, the team play at Cardiff Arms Park. Originally formed in 1876, from 2003 to 2021 the first team was known as the Cardiff Blues before rebranding back to Cardiff Rugby prior to the start of the 2021–22 season. Cardiff have provided more players to the Welsh national side and British and Irish Lions than any other Welsh club. Stadio Comunale Di Monigo
Stadio Comunale di Monigo is a sports stadium in the Monigo frazione of Treviso, Italy. The stadium is used for rugby union, and is the home ground for Benetton. The stadium has a total capacity of , divided between the two covered stands: the Tribuna Ovest (West Stand), seated with seats, and the Tribuna Est (East Stand), seated with seats. The Tribuna Ovest was the only originally covered stand, in fact the East Stand was renovated in 2018, increasing the capacity and building a cover. On the occasion of the test match between Italy and Scotland which was played there on 24 January 1998, the capacity was expanded to approximately seats thanks to the installation of some temporary stands at the sides of the permanent ones. Dean Budd
Dean Budd (born 31 July 1986) is a retired New Zealand-born, Italian rugby union player and his usual position was at Lock. Budd played in the NPC with Northland and Auckland Rugby, while also playing with the Auckland Blues in the Super Rugby. Also able to play second row, Budd is a good jumper and is famous for his fancy offloads. Before joining Benetton Budd played for the NEC Green Rockets in the Top League. Budd arrived in Italy and to Benetton in the 2012–13 Pro12 season. He gained eligibility to play for Italy by way of residency in 2015.Budd debuted for Italy in the summer of June 2017 against Scotland in Singapore. Kieran Crowley
Kieran James Crowley (born 31 August 1961) is a New Zealand rugby union coach and former player, who is the former head coach of Italy. He has also coached the New Zealand Under-19s in the 2007 World Championships as well as coaching provincial side Taranaki. He previously served as head coach of Canada. He also spent five seasons coaching Benetton Rugby. He is a former member of the New Zealand All Blacks where he played as a fullback. Early life Crowley was born in Kaponga, New Zealand. Dragons RFC () are one of the four professional rugby union regional teams in Wales. They play in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup/ European Rugby Challenge Cup.
