Nayib Armando Bukele Ortez (; born 24 July 1981) is a Salvadoran politician and businessman who has served as the 81st president of El Salvador since 2019. In 1999, Bukele established an advertising company and worked at an advertising company owned by his father, Armando Bukele Kattán. Macky Sall (, , ; born 11 December 1961) is a Senegalese politician who served as the fourth president of Senegal from 2012 to 2024. He previously served as the eighth Prime Minister of Senegal, prime minister from 2004 to 2007, under President Abdoulaye Wade and List of presidents of the National Assembly of Senegal, president of the National Assembly from 2007 to 2008. 2019 Senegalese Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in Senegal on 24 February 2019. Incumbent president Macky Sall of the Alliance for the Republic was re-elected for a second term with 58% of the vote in the first round. Electoral system The President of Senegal is elected using the two-round system; a candidate must receive over 50% of the vote to be elected in the first round. If no candidate had crossed the threshold, a second round would have been held between the top two candidates. Prior to the elections, the electoral law was amended to introduce requirements for candidates to secure signatures from at least 0.8% of the registered electorate, and for at least 2,000 signatures from seven of the 14 regions. 2019 Nigerian General Election
General elections were held in Nigeria on 23 February 2019 to elect the President of Nigeria, President, Vice President of Nigeria, Vice President, House of Representatives (Nigeria), House of Representatives and the Senate of Nigeria, Senate. The elections had initially been scheduled for 16 February, but the Electoral Commission postponed the vote by a week at 03:00 on the original polling day, citing logistical challenges in getting electoral materials to polling stations on time. Muhammadu Buhari (born 17 December 1942) is a Nigerian politician who served as the president of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023.
