Badge Époque Ensemble
Badge Époque Ensemble is a Canadian musical project led by Max Turnbull. They are most noted for their self-titled debut album, which was a longlisted nominee for the 2020 Polaris Music Prize. In addition to Turnbull, the band includes guitarist Chris Bezant, saxophonist Karen Ng, flautist Alia O'Brien, bassist Giosuè Rosati, percussionist Ed Squires and drummer Jay Anderson, and performs both instrumental music and songs with guest vocalists such as Jennifer Castle, Dorothea Paas, James Baley and Meg Remy. Dean Brody
Dean Brody (born August 12, 1975) is a Canadian country music artist from British Columbia. He has won 16 CCMA Awards and 2 JUNO Awards. Originally signed to Broken Bow Records in 2008, Brody made his debut later that year with the single "Brothers". This song, a Top 40 country hit in the US, was the first single from his self-titled debut album, released in 2009 under the production of Matt Rovey. In 2010, Brody was signed to Open Road Recordings and released his second album, '' Trail in Life''. In 2012, he released his third album, ''Dirt'', earning the 2012 CCMA Album of the Year award and a 2013 Juno nomination for Country Album of the Year. Bleu Jeans Bleu
Bleu Jeans Bleu are a Canadian pop music group from Quebec. They are most noted for winning the Prix Félix for Group of the Year at the 41st Felix Awards in 2019. The group was formed in 2012 by Mathieu Lafontaine, separately from his solo work under the name Matt Track, as a side project recording and performing a comedic spin on country music; in the context of the band, all of its members perform under stage names derived from brands of denim jeans. They released the albums ''Haute couture'' in 2013 and ''Franchement wow'' in 2016 before breaking through to mass popularity in 2019 with the hit single "Coton ouaté", the lead single from their third album ''Perfecto''. Big Brave
Big Brave (stylized as BIG , BRAVE) is a Canadian heavy, experimental band formed in 2012 in Montreal. The members are guitarist/vocalist Robin Wattie, guitarist Mathieu Ball, and drummer Tasy Hudson. While Wattie and Ball are original members, having played together as an acoustic, folk oriented duo before forming Big Brave, Hudson joined them in 2019, replacing original drummer Louis-Alexandre Beauregard. Loel Campbell appears on A Gaze Among Them as a hired drummer. Big Brave have released seven studio albums, the latest being 2024's '' A Chaos of Flowers'' and one collaborative album with The Body in 2021, ''Leaving None but Small Birds.''
