2013–14 FIS Cross-Country World Cup was a multi-race tournament over the season for cross-country skiers. This was the 33rd official World Cup season in cross-country skiing for men and women. The season began on 29 November 2013 in Ruka, Finland, and ended on 16 March 2014 in Falun, Sweden. Eirik Brandsdal (born 11 November 1986) is a Norwegian former cross-country skier who began competing in 2005. His five World Cup victories came in sprint events in Otepää on 23 January 2011, in Milan on 14 January 2012, in Drammen on 7 March 2012, in Kuusamo on 29 November 2014 and in Drammen Drammen () is a city and municipality in Buskerud county, Norway. Alexander Legkov
Alexander Gennadiyevich Legkov (; born 7 May 1983) is a retired Russian cross-country skier who competed internationally between 2002 and 2017. He has five individual World Cup victories including one Tour de Ski title, as well as gold and silver medals at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Biography Legkov participated in three Winter Olympic Games (2006, 2010, 2014). He finished fourth after a strong final push to catch then-leader Johan Olsson of Sweden at the 2010 Winter Olympics' 30 km double pursuit. Olsson finished in third place with Legkov 1.2 seconds behind. Legkov's next best result was eight in the 4 × 10 km relay at the 2010 Games in Vancouver. Maxim Mikhailovich Vylegzhanin (; born 18 October 1982) is a Russian former cross country skiing (sport), cross country skier and a three-time Olympic silver medalist at the 2014 Sochi Olympics in 50 km freestyle, 4 × 10 km relay and team sprint. He was stripped of his 2014 Winter Olympics, 2014 Olympic medals by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on 9 November 2017, however on 1 February 2018, his results were restored as a result of the successful appeal. Vylegzhanin has competed since 2002. His first World Cup start was on 22 January 2005 in Pragelato, Italy. He won a silver medal in the 50 km event (time: 1:59:38:8 – average speed 25,1 km/h) at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec. Sergey Aleksandrovich Ustiugov (; born 8 April 1992) is a Russian Cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skier, Olympic champion, world champion and Tour de Ski winner. Career Early career In 2001, Sergey Ustiugov started practicing cross-country skiing in the biathlon section of the sports school of Mezhdurechensky, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Mezhdurechensky. His head coach was Ivan Gennadievich Vragin. Ten years later he won gold in sprint at the World Youth Cross-Country Skiing Championships in Otepää, Estonia. Carl Marcus Joakim Hellner (born 25 November 1985) is a Swedish former cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skier who competed between 2003 and 2018. He retired at the end of the 2017-18 FIS Cross-Country World Cup, 2017-18 FIS World Cup season. Athletic career Hellner had a total of seven victories in the junior levels of cross-country skiing up to 30 km from 2003 to 2005. Maurice Manificat (born 4 April 1986) is a French cross-country skier who has competed since 2004. Career He has achieved three World Cup victories, in Lahti (March 2010), in Canmore (December 2012), both in the 15 km + 15 km double pursuit event, and in Davos (December 2017), in 15 km freestyle. Manificat also finished 47th in the 15 km + 15 km double pursuit event at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec.
