2010–11 Süper Lig
The 2010–11 Süper Lig (known as the ''Spor Toto Süper Lig'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 53rd season since its establishment. The season began on 14 August 2010 and concluded on 22 May 2011. Fenerbahçe claimed their 18th title, but the season was marred by the 2011 Turkish football match-fixing scandal which involved 17 Süper Lig teams and dozens of people, including club bosses and Turkish internationals. Teams Ankaraspor, Denizlispor and Diyarbakırspor were relegated at the end of the 2009–10 season after finishing in the bottom three places of the standings; Ankaraspor were automatically relegated by the Turkish Football Federation because of the election of Ahmet Gökçek, who was already a member of the board of Ankaraspor, as chairman of Ankaragücü. Karşıyaka () is a municipality and Districts of Turkey, district of İzmir Province, Turkey. Its area is 51 km2, and its population is 346,264 (2022). Adanaspor
Adanaspor Kulübü is a Turkish professional Association football, football club based in Adana; currently, they play in the TFF First League. The club was founded in 1954 by middle-class merchants and artisans in response to their perceived alienation within the city's then most popular club, Adana Demirspor, who were supported by workers, financed by landowners, and governed by Turkish State Railways, TCDD staff. Denizlispor is a Turkish sports club based in Denizli. It is known by its distinct green and black colors. The club's branches include football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and gymnastics. Bucaspor
Bucaspor was a professional Turkish Association football, football club based in Buca, İzmir. Formed in 1928, Bucaspor were nicknamed Fırtına (Storm). The club colours were yellow and navy. It was dissolved in 2020. History Bucaspor was the fifth football club to be based in İzmir, following Karşıyaka S.K. (1912), Altay S.K. (1914), Altınordu S.K. (1923), and Göztepe A.Ş. (1925). Yellow and navy were chosen for the club colours. The TFF 1. Lig (), currently referred to as Trendyol 1. Lig for sponsorship reasons, is the second level of the Turkish football league system. The league was founded in 2001 as the ''Turkish Second League Category A'' after the reorganization of the Second Football League, which was the second level of the Turkish league system between 1963 and 2001. The league was called ''Türk Telekom Lig A'' in the 2006–07 season, and was renamed to ''TFF 1. Lig'' prior to the 2007–08 season. As of 16 January 2008 the league was renamed as Bank Asya 1. Lig. Sivasspor
Sivasspor Kulübü, known as Net Global Sivasspor due to sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish sports club based in Sivas. The primary department of the club is men's football. Formed in 1967, its football department has competed in Süper Lig since the 2017–18 season. They competed for the Süper Lig title in two consecutive seasons ( 2007–08 and 2008–09), ultimately finishing fourth and second respectively.
