2010–11 Mid-American Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2010–11 Mid-American Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2010, followed by the start of the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Conference play began in January 2011 and concluded in March 2011. 2010–11 Kent State Golden Flashes men's basketball team, Kent State won the regular season title with a conference record of 12–4. Sixth-seeded 2010–11 Akron Zips men's basketball team, Akron defeated Kent State in the 2012 MAC men's basketball tournament, MAC tournament final in overtime and represented the Mid-American Conference, MAC in the 2011 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, NCAA tournament where they lost in the first round to 2010–11 Notre Dame Fighting Irish men's basketball team, Notre Dame.
