2006–07 Big Ten Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2006–07 Big Ten Conference men's basketball season began with the 2006–07 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. The season marked the 102nd season of Big Ten play. Ohio State won the Big Ten Conference regular season championship by two games over Wisconsin. Wisconsin's Alando Tucker was named Big Ten Player of the Year. Ohio State also won the Big Ten tournament by defeating Wisconsin. As a result of the win, Ohio State received the conference's automatic bid to the 2007 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. Six Big Ten teams (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue, and Wisconsin) were invited to the NCAA tournament. Ohio State advanced to the National Championship game before losing to Florida. Michigan received a bid to the National Invitation Tournament and lost in the second round. Kammron Taylor
Kammron Taylor (born August 28, 1984) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Saint John Riptide of the National Basketball League of Canada. He played college basketball for the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Early life Taylor played basketball with his older brother, Kerek, in their garage in the backyard of their home in Minneapolis, Minnesota. David Teague (basketball)
David Boyd Teague III (born June 4, 1983) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League. He played college basketball for Purdue University. High school career Teague attended Pike High School in Indianapolis, Indiana where he played alongside future Notre Dame star Chris Thomas. Adam Haluska (born November 16, 1983) is an American former professional basketball player. College career Iowa 2003–2007 Haluska played college basketball with the Iowa Hawkeyes, and scored 1,847 points in his collegiate career. He was named to the 2007 All-Big Ten Conference First Team just weeks after being named the 2007 Academic All-American of the Year. Daequan Cook (born April 28, 1987) is an American former professional basketball player who last played for Ironi Nes Ziona of the Israeli Premier League. He was taken 21st overall in the 2007 NBA draft by the Philadelphia 76ers then subsequently traded to the Miami Heat.
