Delhi Suburban Railway is a suburban rail service operated by Northern Railway for the National Capital Region (NCR). This railway service covers Delhi, along with the adjoining districts of Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Sonipat and other adjoining places in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. These services are mostly run using EMU and MEMU rakes. This also includes passenger trains and DMU services up to Rewari in Haryana, a part of the NCR. Kirti Nagar (Delhi Metro)
The Kirti Nagar Metro Station is located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro. It is one of the terminus stations of the Green Line, the other being Inderlok. An extension of the Green Line, commuters travelling on the Green Line are able to transfer to Blue Line from this station as well as the Red Line at Inderlok via Ashok Park Main, saving time and money, rather than going all the way to longer routes of Rajiv Chowk and Kashmere Gate. This branch opened on 27 August 2011. A new Metrolite Line is under construction and will be completed by 2025. It will run from Kirti Nagar to Bamnoli Village, with 22 stations. Inderlok (Delhi Metro)
Inderlok (formerly called Trinagar) is a Delhi Metro station located in Delhi, on the Red and Green Lines. It is a transfer station between the Red Line and the Green Line. The station is the terminal for the Green Line to Brigadier Hoshiyar Singh metro station, which is located in Bahadurgarh district of Haryana. One interesting thing about the Inderlok station is that the Green Line meets the Red Line perpendicularly here, unlike all the other interchange stations. This design choice ended the possibility of extending the line in the future (in this direction). Jhajjar District
Jhajjar district is one of the 22 districts of Haryana state in northern India. Carved out of Rohtak district on 15 July 1997 and with its headquarters in Jhajjar, it lies from Delhi and had developed into an important industrial center.
