Ronald Brautigam
Ronald Brautigam (born 1954) is a Dutch concert pianist, best known for his performances of Beethoven's piano works on the fortepiano. Born in Amsterdam, Brautigam studied there with Jan Wijn (1971-79), then he left to study in London with John Bingham (1980-82) and in the United States with Rudolf Serkin (1982-83). His skill as a pianist was recognised by Dutch musicians and in 1984 he was awarded the Nederlandse Muziekprijs. In 2015 his Beethoven recordings received the Edison Award and the annual German Record Critics' Prize.Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz. Harry Brautigam
Harry Brautigam (October 29, 1948 in Bluefields, Nicaragua – May 30, 2008 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras) was a Nicaraguan economist, banker and academic. Biography Harry Emil Brautigam, son of Harry and Lucille Brautigam, was born and raised in Bluefields, Nicaragua. He received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Guadalajara, Mexico. Harry was then awarded a British Council Scholarship and went on to receive a postgraduate diploma in Manchester, England. He finalized his master's degree in economics at the University of Leeds and later received a Ph.D. in agriculture economics from the University of Illinois in the United States. While abroad in England, he met Marilyn Gerald, whom he later married in Nicaragua in 1976. They had their first child, Harry Emil Brautigam, in Managua, Nicaragua, in 1978. Deborah Bräutigam is an American political scientist, currently the Bernard L. Schwartz Professor of Political Economy at Johns Hopkins University and the Director of the China Africa Research Initiative at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. Bräutigam studies international development policies and foreign aid, focusing on Chinese projects in Africa. Education and early career Bräutigam attended Ohio Wesleyan University, graduating with a BA in 1976. After completing courses with the Yale-China Association and National Taiwan Normal University, Bräutigam attended the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy of Tufts University, receiving an MA in Law and Diplomacy in 1983 followed by a PhD in International Development in 1987. Otto Bräutigam (14 May 1895 – 30 April 1992) was a German diplomat and lawyer who worked for the ''Auswärtiges Amt'' (German Foreign Office) and for the Reich Ministry for the Occupied Eastern Territories, which was led by Alfred Rosenberg, in Nazi Germany. In that position, Bräutigam was involved in the Holocaust. After World War II, he joined the ''Auswärtiges Amt'' of West Germany. Early life and career Born in Wesel, Bräutigam studied law in 1913 and 1914 at Grenoble, Oxford and Strasbourg. He fought in World War I and finished his studies in Münster in 1919.
