The Exemplary Band of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan ( Kazakh: Қазақстан Республикасының Ұлттық гвардиясының үлгілі оркестрі, Russian: Образцово-показательный оркестр Национальной гвардии Республики Казахстан) is a military music unit made for state ceremonies carried out by the National Guard of Kazakhstan. It was founded in 1965, as the band of the Internal Troops of the Kazakh SSR and is currently one of the leading musical groups of the Kazakh Armed Forces. Since its inception, the band has repeatedly performed military music on behalf of the Kazakh Internal Troops and the National Guard of Kazakhstan. Shanghai Cooperation Organization Military Tattoo
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Military Tattoo ( Chinese: 上海合作组织军乐节; Russian: Шанхайская организация сотрудничества Военная фестиваль) also known as the SCO Military Tattoo is an annual military music event and military tattoo organized by the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. The musical groups that usually participate in the festival annually are the bands of SCO member states as well as SCO observer states. The Central Military Band of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan is a military music unit made for state ceremonies carried out by the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan. Background It was formed on November 8, 1995 in accordance with the Directive of the Minister of Defense, Army General Sagadat Nurmagambetov. Shortly after its foundation, Colonel Alexander Belyakov ( Russian: Александр Викторович Беляков) joined the band as its senior director. Belyakov was commissioned to lead the band by Nurmagambetov after his role in the Victory Day Parade on Republic Square that year. In 2012, the orchestra was relocated from the city of Almaty to Astana. The Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival is an annual military music event and military tattoo held in Moscow on Red Square. The Amur Waves International Military Bands Festival is an annual military music event and military tattoo held in Khabarovsk on Lenin Square, Khabarovsk. Participating in the festival are Russian and foreign military bands, folk groups, and honor guards.
