José Julián Martí Pérez (; 28 January 1853 – 19 May 1895) was a Cuban nationalism, nationalist, poet, philosopher, essayist, journalist, translator, professor, and publisher, who is considered a Cuban national hero because of his role in the liberation of his country from Spain. Hermann Park is a urban park in Houston, Texas, situated at the southern end of the Houston Museum District, Museum District. The park is located to the immediate north end of the MD Anderson Cancer Center at Texas Medical Center and Brays Bayou, east of Rice University, and slightly west of the Third Ward, Houston, Third Ward. McGovern Centennial Gardens
McGovern Centennial Gardens is a collection of gardens in Hermann Park, in Houston, Texas, United States. Description and history The park cost $31 million and took approximately eight years to complete, officially opening in December 2014. The gardens consist of the Arid Garden, the Celebration Garden, the Family Garden, the Rose Garden and the Woodland Garden. The park includes a Garden Mount.
