Bulbula () is a lake in Azerbaijan, located on the Absheron Peninsula The Absheron Peninsula () is a peninsula in Azerbaijan. It is the location of Baku, the most populous city of the country, and the Baku Metropolitan Area, with its satellite cities Sumqayit and Khyrdalan. According to its genesis, the lake Bulbula belongs to a tectonic group. The concentration of total nitrogen in the bottom sediments of the lake averages 0.18 mg/100 g. The lake mirror area is 0.7 km2, the maximum width is 360 m, the maximum depth is 1.5 m, the average depth is 1.1 m, and the length of the coastline is 6 km. Suraxanı Raion
Suraxanı () is a settlement and raion of Baku, Azerbaijan. It has a population of 210,500. The region is best known for the Fire Temple of Baku on the northern edge of town, a castle-like temple and monastery complex known locally as the ''Ateşgah'' or ''Ateshgyakh''. It was a Zoroastrian temple. The complex was built on a pocket of natural gas that once produced a flame from natural gas seepage. The local Tat name of the raion is said to related to "the Persian words 'Surakh' (hole) or Surkh/ Sorkh (red) and 'khani' (source or fountain). According to historical sources, before the construction of the Parsi Temple Of Fire (Atashgah) in Surakhany at the end of the 18th century, the local people also worshipped at this site because of the 'seven holes with burning flame'. The Absheron Peninsula () is a peninsula in Azerbaijan. It is the location of Baku, the most populous city of the country, and the Baku Metropolitan Area, with its satellite cities Sumqayit and Khyrdalan. Bakıxanov () is a settlement and municipality in Baku, Azerbaijan. It was named after Abbasgulu Bakikhanov and has a population of 71,600. It contains a mosque and a public park.
