Bruce Westerman
Bruce Eugene Westerman (born November 18, 1967) is an American forester and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Arkansas's 4th congressional district. Previously, he served as member and the majority leader of the Arkansas House of Representatives. In 2014, Westerman was elected to the House to succeed Tom Cotton, who defeated U.S. Senator Mark Pryor in the 2014 Senate election. Background Westerman was raised in and resides in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He graduated as valedictorian of Fountain Lake High School in Hot Springs. Fountain Lake High School
Fountain Lake High School is a high school in unincorporated Garland County, Arkansas, with a Hot Springs postal address. It is the only high school in the Fountain Lake School District, which also includes a middle school and elementary school on the same site. The 2014 United States Senate election in Arkansas was held on November 4, 2014, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the state of Arkansas, concurrently with the election of the Governor of Arkansas, as well as other elections to the United States Senate in other states and elections to the United States House of Representatives and various state and local elections.
