Brown is a racialized classification of people, usually a political and skin color-based category for specific populations with a light to moderate brown complexion. Racialization
Racialization or ethnicization is a sociological concept used to describe the intent and processes by which Ethnic group, ethnic or Race (human classification), racial identities are systematically constructed within a society. Constructs for racialization are centered on erroneous generalizations about racial aspects of distinct groups, leading to the denial of equal societal engagement. Louis Figuier
Louis Figuier (; 15 February 1819 in Montpellier – 8 November 1894 in 9th arrondissement of Paris) was a French scientist and writer. He was the nephew of Pierre-Oscar Figuier and became Professor of chemistry at L'Ecole de pharmacie of Montpellier. Louis Figuier was married to French writer Juliette Figuier, Louise Juliette Bouscaren. Jean Baptiste Julien d'Omalius d'Halloy (17 February 1783 in Liège – 15 January 1875 in Brussels) was a Belgian statesman and geologist. Jane C. Desmond is currently a Professor of Anthropology and Gender and Women's Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Desmond is also a published author as well as the co-founder and director of the International Forum for U.S. Studies.
