British National Time Trial Championships
The British National Time Trial Championships for cycling are held annually. The winners of each event are awarded with a symbolic white cycling jersey featuring blue and red stripes, which can be worn by the rider at other time trial events in the country to show their status as national champion. The champion's stripes can be combined into a sponsored rider's team kit design for this purpose. Stephen Philip Cummings (born 19 March 1981) is an English former racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2005 and 2019 for the , , , , and squads, and rode for Great Britain at the Summer Olympic Games, the UCI Road World Championships, and the UCI Track Cycling World Championships. During his professional road racing career, Cummings took seventeen victories, including Grand Tour (cycling), Grand Tour stage wins at the 2012 Vuelta a España, the 2015 Tour de France and the 2016 Tour de France. Geraint Howell Thomas, ( , ; born 25 May 1986) is a Welsh professional racing cyclist who rides for UCI WorldTeam , Wales and Great Britain. He is one of the few riders in the modern era to achieve significant elite success as both a track and road rider, with notable victories in the velodrome, in one-day racing and in stage racing. On the track, he has won three World Championships ( 2007, 2008, and 2012), and two Olympic gold medals ( 2008 and 2012), while on the road he won the 2018 Tour de France becoming the first Welshman and third British rider to win it. Chris Froome
Christopher Clive Froome, (; born 20 May 1985) is a British professional road racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . He has won seven Grand Tours: four editions of the Tour de France (in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017), one Giro d'Italia (2018) and the Vuelta a España twice (2011Awarded in 2019 following the disqualification of original winner Juan José Cobo and 2017). Wouter Sybrandy
Wouter Sybrandy (born 20 February 1985) is a Dutch former professional road racing cyclist, who rode professionally for between 2009 and 2013. Biography Sybrandy was born in the Netherlands but spent most of his career in the United Kingdom. Although Dutch, in 2008, he came second in the British National Time Trial Championships to Michael Hutchinson. In 2012, Sybrandy suffered a crash in the Tour of Britain, causing fractures to his cheekbone and eye socket, as well as fractures to three lower vertebrae. When folded at the end of the 2013 season, Sybrandy was left without a team, and decided to return to full-time employment whilst also pursuing his racing career with support from Sigma Sport, the sponsor of his old team. Jason MacIntyre
Jason MacIntyre (20 September 1973 – 15 January 2008) was a Scottish racing cyclist. He was a triple British and Scottish champion time trial cyclist and broke Graeme Obree's time trial Scottish record in 2007. He was killed after a collision with a van on the A82 road. Early life MacIntyre was born on 20 September 1973 in Lochgilphead, Argyll and Bute, Scotland. His family moved to Fort William when he was ten years old. He attended Lochaber High School, leaving in the sixth year and then he trained as a printer and lithographer. Cycling career He started cycling at the relatively late age of 18. At the age of 22 he went to Lanzarote to train over the winter. The following year he won the 1997 Tour of the North in Northern Ireland at the age of 23. Julian Winn
Julian Winn (Winny) from Abergavenny, Wales (born 23 September 1972) is a former Welsh competitive cyclist who was formerly directeur sportif at the UCI Continental cycling team Endura Racing. He represented Wales in the 1998 Commonwealth Games at Kuala Lumpur and at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. He was appointed Welsh Cycling coach in 2005. In 2008, he was GB road race team manager at the Beijing Olympics, overseeing the victory of Welsh compatriot Nicole Cooke.
