Brian O'Meara (rugby Union)
Brian O'Meara (born 5 April 1976, County Cork) is an Irish former rugby union player. After winning two senior cups with PBC, he joined Cork Con, playing in four AIL Finals, winning one. He won 99 caps for Leinster, after moving from Munster whom he played with from 1997 - 2000. He would return and make an additional six appearances for Munster in the 2006–07 season. He also won 9 caps for Ireland between 1997 and 2003, including two appearances at the 1999 Rugby World Cup. He is the 6th highest point scorer for Leinster rugby behind Ian Madigan, Johnny Sexton, Felipe Contepomi and Ross Byrne Ross Byrne is an Irish rugby union player. He plays as fly-half. Brian O'Meara (Kilruane MacDonagh's Hurler)
Brian "Buggy" O'Meara (born 27 March 1990) is an Irish hurler who currently plays as a full-forward for the Tipperary senior team. His brother Niall O'Meara also play for Tipperary O'Meara made his first appearance for the team during the 2010 championship and has become a regular player over the last few seasons. Since then he has won one Munster winners' medal. At club level O'Meara is a county football championship medallist with divisional side Thomas MacDonagh's. He plays hurling with his local club Kilruane MacDonagh's. Playing career Club O'Meara plays his club hurling and Gaelic football with the Kilruane MacDonagh's club. In 2011 he was a member of the divisional Thomas MacDonagh's team that reached the final of the county football championship. Moyle Rovers provided the opposition.
