Brian O'Connor (baseball Coach)
Brian Patrick O'Connor (born April 21, 1971) is an American college baseball head coach at Mississippi State University. He was previously the head coach of the Virginia Cavaliers baseball, Virginia Cavaliers from 2004 to 2025. O'Connor led the Cavaliers to fourteen NCAA Division I Baseball Championship, NCAA baseball tournaments and seven College World Series, College World Series Appearances during his time in Charlottesville, including the 2009 College World Series, the first in school history; the 2011 College World Series, as the No. 1 national seed; the 2014 College World Series, as the No. 3 national seed; and the 2015 College World Series, which they won and became National Champions for the first time in school history. Brian O'Connor (musician)
Brian Scott O'Connor is an American musician. Primarily a bassist, he is best known as a touring and recording member of rock band Eagles of Death Metal. He has also appeared on recordings by The Desert Sessions, Masters of Reality, Peaches, Unkle, Axis of Justice and Sweethead. Biography O'Connor grew up in the rural community of Carrolls between Kalama and Kelso-Longview, Washington. As a child, he played in a band named Shanna and the Country Bugs with his father and siblings. He worked for many years in construction before joining Eagles of Death Metal. In June 2010, it was announced that O'Connor had been diagnosed with an unspecified cancer, for which he would be undergoing chemotherapy. Brian Redmond Devereaux O'Connor (5 July 1913 – 17 December 1963) was an Australian first-class cricketer who played Sheffield Shield cricket for Queensland. Biography O'Connor, a right-arm fast-medium opening bowler and lower order batsman, made four of his five first-class matches in the 1934/35 Sheffield Shield season. He struggled on his debut, against South Australia at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, going wicket-less in the first innings and conceding 80 runs off just 13 overs. In the second innings he dismissed opener Vic Richardson and then helped Queensland win the match by scoring 11 not out from nine in the batting order, securing a narrow three wicket victory. Brian O'Connor, MRIA (born 1965) is an Irish social philosopher active in the tradition of continental European intellectual thought. O'Connor is a professor of philosophy at University College Dublin and director of the school of philosophy. Brian M. O'Connor (born January 4, 1977) is a retired Major League Baseball pitcher who played during one season at the major league level for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was drafted by the Pirates in the 11th round of the 1995 amateur draft. O'Connor played his first professional season in 1995 with their Rookie league Gulf Coast Pirates and his last season with the Atlanta Braves' Triple-A Richmond Braves in 2006. Brian Edward O'Connor (born February 14, 1953), known professionally as Brian Brucker O'Connor or Brian O'Connor, is an American actor, comedian, guidance counselor, and musician. His best known roles include Biddle in ''Beverly Hills Cop II'' (1987) and Schemer on '' Shining Time Station'' (1989–1993).
