Brian O'Connor (musician)
Brian Scott O'Connor is an American musician. Primarily a bassist, he is best known as a touring and recording member of rock band Eagles of Death Metal. He has also appeared on recordings by The Desert Sessions, Masters of Reality, Peaches, Unkle, Axis of Justice and Sweethead. Biography O'Connor grew up in the rural community of Carrolls between Kalama and Kelso-Longview, Washington. As a child, he played in a band named Shanna and the Country Bugs with his father and siblings. He worked for many years in construction before joining Eagles of Death Metal. In June 2010, it was announced that O'Connor had been diagnosed with an unspecified cancer, for which he would be undergoing chemotherapy. Palm Desert
Palm Desert is a city in the Coachella Valley region of Riverside County, California. The city is located in the Colorado Desert arm of the Sonoran Desert, about east of Palm Springs, northeast of San Diego and east of Los Angeles. The population was 51,163 at the 2020 census, and the city has been one of the state's fastest-growing since 1980, when its population was 11,801. Queens of the Stone Age (commonly abbreviated as QOTSA or QotSA) is an American rock band formed in Seattle in 1996. The Fender Precision Bass (or "P-Bass") is a model of bass guitar, electric bass guitar manufactured by Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. In its standard, post-1957 configuration, the Precision Bass is a solid body, four-stringed instrument usually equipped with a single split-coil humbucker, humbucking pickup and a one-piece, 20-fret maple neck with rosewood or maple fingerboard. Its prototype was designed by Leo Fender in 1950 and the Precision was brought to market in 1951. It was the first electric bass guitar to earn widespread attention and use, remaining among the best-selling and most-imitated electric bass guitars with considerable effect on the sound of popular music. Mark William Lanegan (November 25, 1964 – February 22, 2022) was an American singer and songwriter. First becoming prominent as the lead singer for the early grunge band Screaming Trees, he was also known as a member of Queens of the Stone Age and The Gutter Twins. He released twelve solo studio albums as well as three collaboration albums with Isobel Campbell and two with Duke Garwood. Alain Johannes Mociulski (born May 2, 1962) is a Chilean-American multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, whose primary instruments are guitar and bass. Them Crooked Vultures is an American rock supergroup formed in Los Angeles in 2009 with American musician Josh Homme on lead vocals and guitar, English musician John Paul Jones on bass and keyboards, and American musician Dave Grohl on drums and backing vocals. John Paul Jones (musician)
John Paul Jones (born John Baldwin; 3 January 1946) is an English musician and record producer who was the bassist and keyboardist for the rock band Led Zeppelin. He was a session musician and Arrangement, arranger when he formed the band with Jimmy Page in 1968. Jones developed a solo career after drummer John Bonham died and Led Zeppelin disbanded in 1980.
