Brian Flynn (footballer)
Brian Flynn (born 12 October 1955) is a Welsh former association football, footballer and Manager (association football), manager. As a player, he was a Wales national football team, Welsh international, who played as a midfielder. Flynn managed the Wales national under-21 football team until May 2012, coming close to taking Wales to their first major championship in 57 years. On 13 September 2010, Flynn was confirmed caretaker manager of the Wales national football team after John Toshack stepped down, prior to the appointment of Gary Speed. Playing career Flynn started his career with Burnley F.C., Burnley, and made his league debut for the club in the 1973–74 Football League, 1973–74 season, when it was in the old Football League First Division, First Division. Brian Anthony Flynn (born April 19, 1990) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. Flynn previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Miami Marlins and Kansas City Royals. Amateur career Flynn attended Owasso High School in Owasso, Oklahoma, where he played as a pitcher for the school's baseball team. In 2008, his senior year, he went 9–1 with a 0.79 ERA and was named ''The Oklahoman''s all-state player of the year. After graduating, Flynn enrolled at Wichita State University, where he played college baseball for the Wichita State Shockers. In 2011, as a redshirt sophomore, he went 6–4 with a 4.63 ERA in 67.2 innings. Brian Michael Flynn (born July 26, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey forward who is an unrestricted free agent. Originally undrafted by teams in the National Hockey League (NHL), Flynn has previously played for the Buffalo Sabres and Montreal Canadiens. Playing career As a youth, Flynn played in the 2002 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Middlesex Islanders minor ice hockey team. Flynn played his high school hockey at a New England private school in Connecticut, Pomfret School. Undrafted, Flynn previously played for the Maine Black Bears in the NCAA Men's Division I Hockey East conference. In his senior year, Flynn's outstanding play was rewarded with a selection to the 2011-12 Hockey East First-Team All-Stars. The band is composed of Brian Flynn (lead vocals), Brent Flynn (lead guitar), Joseph Shreve (bass guitar), and Tommy Bales (drums).
