Bryan Edwards (American Football)
Bryan J. Edwards (born November 13, 1998) is an American professional American football, football wide receiver. He played college football for the South Carolina Gamecocks football, South Carolina Gamecocks and was selected by the Las Vegas Raiders in the third round of the 2020 NFL draft. Early life Edwards attended Conway High School (South Carolina), Conway High School in Conway, South Carolina. During his career, he had 188 receptions for 2,562 yards and 32 touchdowns. He was selected to play in the 2016 U.S. Army All-American Game, but did not play due to injury. He committed to the University of South Carolina to play college football. Bryan Edwards (27 October 1930 – 21 June 2016) was an English football player and manager. He played 518 games for Bolton Wanderers picking up an FA Cup Winners medal in 1958 and later managed Bradford City and was a coach and physiotherapist at several clubs. He has a beloved wife Jean Edwards, son Ian Edwards, grandson Jon Edwards, great great granddaughter Ellie Edwards and great great great grandson Kobe. Playing career Edwards excelled at both football and cricket and had trials for both sports, at Bolton Wanderers and Yorkshire CCC in 1947. He joined Bolton and signed a full-time professional contract in October 1947. He stayed at Burnden Park for 18 years, although his career was interrupted by two years National Service, winning an FA Cup winners medal in 1958 when Bolton defeated Manchester United 2–0. Brian Edwards (born October 6, 1984) is an American former soccer player who last played as a goalkeeper for Degerfors IF. Career Youth and College Edwards attended Providence High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, played club soccer for the Charlotte Soccer Club, and played college soccer at Wake Forest University. In his four-year playing career at Wake Forest, Edwards put up a career 0.78 GA average, 44 career shutouts, and led the Demon Deacons to victory in the 2007 Division I Men's College Cup, defeating Ohio State University in the final. Edwards was named the Final Four's defensive MVP. During his college years he also played with Carolina Dynamo of the USL Premier Development League. Professional Edwards was drafted in the second round (twenty-eighth overall) of the 2008 MLS SuperDraft by Toronto FC, which intended to use Edwards as a back-up goalkeeper behind Greg Sutton. Bryan Edwards (politician)
Bryan Edwards, FRS (21 May 1743 – 15/16 July 1800) was a British politician and historian from Westbury, Wiltshire. Edwards supported the Atlantic slave trade, and was described by abolitionist William Wilberforce as a powerful opponent. Family He was the eldest son of Bryan Edwards (died 1756) and his wife, Elizabeth Bayly, sister of Zachary Bayly, a slave-owner in Jamaica. After his father's death he was supported for a time by Nathaniel Bayly, another uncle, but they fell out. His maintenance and education were then undertaken by Zachary Bayly. About 1759, Edwards joined Zachary in Jamaica, and Bayly engaged a private tutor to complete the boy's education. When Bayly died Edwards inherited his wealth, including six Jamaican plantations. In 1773 he also succeeded to the estate of another Jamaica resident, named Hume. Brian Morgan Edwards (August 1934 – December 2002) was a Welsh businessman and politician who sponsored the first Welsh-language recording studio for popular music. He was described as a political "maverick". Edwards was born in Swansea and won a place at the London School of Economics, where he was a joint founder of the Tankard Club, a dining club for LSE graduates. His first job was as a computer salesman with IBM, and he soon won success in that field. In 1961 he was appointed lead salesman for a new computer system which used a novel small-sized punched card and was designed for the smaller business. By spending his weekends driving around the industrial estates of west London, and on Monday mornings presenting a list of company names to his secretary, he rapidly built up a strong following of prospective customers.
