Thorstein Treholt
Thorstein Treholt (13 April 1911 – 17 March 1993) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was the father of convicted Norwegian spy Arne Treholt. He was born in Skoger. An agronomist by education, Treholt was state secretary to the Minister of Agriculture from 1954 to 1957, serving under three different ministers during the period (Rasmus Nordbø, Olav Meisdalshagen and Harald Johan Løbak). He later became the Minister of Agriculture in 1971–1972 in the first cabinet Bratteli and 1973–1976 in the second cabinet Bratteli, the two periods only interrupted by the non-labour cabinet Korvald. Odd Sagør
Odd Georg Sagør (born 2 July 1918 in Meldal Municipality, died 24 June 1993) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was Minister of Consumer Affairs and Administration from 1973 to 1976, during the second cabinet Bratteli. On the local level he was a member of the municipal council of Trondheim Municipality from 1945 to 1970, serving as deputy mayor from 1959 to 1963 and mayor from 1963 to 1970. Tor Halvorsen (24 November 1930 – 4 November 1987) was a Norwegian trade unionist and politician for the Labour Party. Biography He was born in Skien. He started his working career in a shoe factory in 1946. In 1952 he was hired as a plumber in Porsgrunn. He then head the trade union of Norsk Hydro at Herøya from 1961 to 1968. He was a district secretary in Arbeidernes Opplysningsforbund from 1968 to 1969, and then a secretary of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions, a position he held from 1969 to 1973 and 1976 to 1977. He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Telemark during the term 1969–1973. Bjartmar Alv Gjerde (6 November 1931 – 28 November 2009) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He held several posts as a government minister between 1971 and 1980, and was Norway's first Minister of Petroleum and Energy. He was later the director-general of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation and director of the government agency Aetat. Early life and career Hailing from Larsnes in Sande Municipality, he was a son of smallholder Hjalmar Gjerde (1902–1979) and housewife Astrid Øvrelid (1907–1993).
