Riocentro
Riocentro is an exhibition and convention center located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Built in 1977, it is the largest exhibition center in Latin America. Notable events 1981 May Day attack On April 30, 1981, during a May Day music concert, Riocentro was the target of a terrorist attack by hardliner members of the Brazilian military dictatorship (1964–1985). Sergeant Guilherme Pereira do Rosário and then-Captain Wilson Dias Machado, nowadays a Colonel, were responsible for detonating two bombs at the venue. Around 9 p.m., however, one of the bombs exploded in the lap of Sergeant Rosário, killing him and seriously wounding Machado. A second bomb exploded a few miles away at a powerhouse responsible for providing electrical energy to Riocentro; it was thrown over the fence and exploded on the ground, and the electric power supply was never interrupted that evening. Hurshid Tojibaev
Khurshid Tadjibayev/Hoorshid Tojibaev (13 November 1989) is an Uzbek professional and former amateur boxer who competed at bantamweight at the 2008 Olympics and at lightweight at the 2016 Olympics. He qualified for the 2008 Olympics by beating fighters like Han Soon Chul. In Beijing, he upset German veteran Rustamhodza Rahimov 11:2 but lost to Bruno Julie from Mauritius 4:16. Tojibaev continued his boxing career after the 2008 Olympics, earning a bronze medal at lightweight at the 2010 Asian Games in China. There, he won his opening three bouts (two by TKO) before losing a decision to India's Vikas Krishan Yadav, who went on to win the gold. Tojibaev went on to compete with mixed success in the World Series of Boxing (WSB) and with great success in AIBA professional boxing (APB). Amnat Ruenroeng ( th, อำนาจ รื่นเริง; IPA:; born December 18, 1979), also known as Amnat Kasetphatthana ( th, อำนาจ เกษตรพัฒนา) is a Thai professional boxer and kickboxer who held the IBF flyweight title from 2014 to 2016. Early life Ruenroeng was born without knowing who his parents were, when he was first born he didn't even have a birth certificate because the officer refused to register him due to not being sure he was Thai. Teófimo Andrés López Rivera (born July 30, 1997) is an American professional boxer. He is a former unified lightweight world champion, having held the IBF title from 2019 to November 2021, and the WBA (Super), WBO, and '' The Ring'' magazine titles from October 2020 until November 2021.
