Boxing At The 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's Bantamweight
The men's bantamweight boxing competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics, 2012 Olympic Games in London was held from 28 July to 11 August at the ExCeL London, ExCeL Exhibition Centre. Twenty-eight boxers from 28 nations competed. Luke Campbell (boxer), Luke Campbell of Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Great Britain won the gold medal, defeating Ireland at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Ireland's John Joe Nevin in the final. Nevin took the silver medal and bronze medals were awarded to both semi-final losers. Ibrahim Balla (born 1 October 1990) is an Australian professional boxer. As an amateur, he competed at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and the 2012 Summer Olympics in the bantamweight division. Óscar Rafael Valdez Fierro Jr. (born 22 December 1990) is a Mexican professional boxer.
